I go there once in a while just to look at the beautiful city and take a few deep breaths. Parking is a little hard.
And if you wanna be friendly this is not the place to do it. People stay to themselves and they don't like to be approached by strangers even if it's just a friendly hello.
Playgrounds with swings, slides and play structure. Located in Douglass park with bathrooms, picnic tables, green grassy area and basketball and tennis court.
We love bringing our pup to this dog park. It's not only huge, but it also comes with a little hiking trail along the top. It has the best views of SF, lots of room for our pup to run around and really awesome dog owners. Only sad part is that it closes during winter for maintenance.

We joined a birthday party in the park. There was plenty of lawn for kids to run and play, and also structures, and a tennis court. There is available restroom in the park also. Parking is available too, but in a very steep street - nothing rare for locals, but not common for outsiders
Great place for a kids birthday party. It's fenced off so you don't have to worry about the kids getting out or strangers getting in. It's on a hillside that blocks the wind. There are restrooms, picnic tables, tennis courts, and a playset. Plenty of room for the kids to run around and for parents to keep an eye on them.
Great Large Fully enclosed Dog Park! Shaded yet sunny and tons of space for your ball dog. Friendly neighbors and dog walkers alike come together to let our fur Babies play! If your dog is an adventurer there is a nice hike on the north end.

I have to admit I don't know all the dog runs but I have to say I believe you would be hard-pressed to find a better place to bring your loving Pooch for a little romp with other big medium and little dogs! All the regulars know each other and it is safe for your dog to run around in a huge open space environment! There are two gates that lock behind you so that your dog can not run out onto the street! Fun day for your little Fido!
